Something old, strange, and sharply dressed comes kicking dust in from the Badlands: upright bass stalking the floor, guitar slung low, saxophone and keys ready to shove the night from backroom blues into boogie jazz. Blue Moon Marquee does not stay in one lane. A.W. Cardinal and Jasmine Colette build their world out of swing blues, stomp swing, honky tonk, cabaret grit, and the kind of stage command that makes a small room feel secretly chosen.

This is their confirmed first Iowa date, and they arrive at The Ideal with the full expanded touring band, fresh from a run that includes Madison and Muncie. The credentials have weight: 2024 JUNO Award winner for Blues Album of the Year, 2025 JUNO nominee, and a four-category Maple Blues Awards sweep. Their newer work pushes the spell further, with Get Your Feathers Ready bringing Northern Cree Singers into the band's country blues and folk blues vocabulary.
