Wedding Tour Guide
You may have not done this before, but we have.
These are the questions you should think about before touring The Ideal — or any venue you may be considering for your big day.
-
Do you have a season or date in mind, even loosely?
-
Do you have a theme, style or color direction you're drawn to?
-
Have you selected a location for the ceremony?
-
How do you imagine the flow of the day — ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, dancing?
-
How do you envision your seating layout — head table, sweetheart table, or something more flexible?
-
Will you include guestbook tables, photo displays, and/or multimedia projections?

-
Approximately how many guests are you expecting? A good rule of thumb: plan for 20-30% attrition; if you sent out 100 invites, expect 70-80 to attend.
-
Are there key people — parents, wedding party, or others — with a role in the day?
-
Will any guests require accessibility options or special accommodations?
-
Will guests need lodging and/or lodging recommendations?
-
What dining style fits your vision— plated, buffet, grazing table, food truck(s)?
-
Do you already have a caterer in mind, or do you want a list of our preferred caterers?
-
Any thoughts on the bar experience? Any themes it can support, or custom cocktails you've dreamed up?
-
Will you have a DJ, live band, or other entertainment?
-
What role do you want entertainment to play — background, centerpiece, a combination?
Don't worry about having all the answers. Wherever you are in the process, we'll met you there— and help you see what's possible.
